Dr. Ellen Bollmeier, DMD.

Dr. Ellen Bollmeier is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a BS degree in chemistry. After accompanying her husband on his tour of duty with the Army, Dr. Bollmeier attended and graduated from SIU dental school with her DMD degree. She has now been practicing dentistry for 30 years. In that time, she has been helping people find their smiles, attain dental and overall health, and encouraging people with her caring and gentle manner.

Dr. Bollmeier enjoys taking care of children and adults. Apprehensive patients soon learn they are part of our dental family and can begin to relax as their smile is taken care of in a professional but caring manner. Dr. Bollmeier believes that she should never stop learning. She stays current with the new advances in dentistry through continuing education. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the St. Clair Dental Society. She participates in Give Kids A Smile and donates her time to other charitable organizations.

Dr. Bollmeier has been married to her husband, Jim, a veterinarian, for 43 years. She has even been known to help some of her husband's four legged friends with their dental care. They have four children, Beth, a HS teacher in Mascoutah, James, a veterinarian in O'Fallon, Anne, my associate dentist, and Cathleen, an realtor and IT developer. And of course, over the years have had many dogs, cats and other pets.

Dr. Anne Bollmeier, DMD.

Dr. Anne Bollmeier decided to go to dental school after watching the impact her mother, Dr. Ellen Bollmeier, had on her patient's life and health. She watched her compassion and intelligence help give people a chance to be healthier and happier. She graduated in 2014 from Southern Illinois University's school of dental medicine, and she was the recipient of the 2014 department of restorative dentistry fixed prosthodontics award. This honor is awarded to the senior student who demonstrates clinical excellence and top scores for crown and bridge restorations. She also received scores of 95 or higher on all areas of my clinical licensing board exams.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Illinois State Dental Society; as well as the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity, known for its academic distinction and philanthropic efforts. However, her greatest honor has been caring for my patients and watching someone smile after having helped.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with friends and family. She loves swimming, reading, and watching her daughter's activities. Dr. Anne is married to her husband, Jay, who is a cancer research scientist with Washington University.

Her practice philosophy is patient care first, providing exceptional care for our patients. She tries her best to help patients be comfortable while they achieve functional health and esthetic appeal.  She looks forward to giving her patients many more reasons to smile.
